You can't claim that this is a definitive guide, nor a teach yourself book, but it does at least act as a valuable reference for anyone using javascript. As with a lot of Oreilly publications, it is aimmed to be a cross platform book, and in this case it talks about the tags and their priority on different versions of browsers, which is especially useful if you use branching on webpages. It won't teach you a lot but will help you if you are in a tight corner as to what is missing/wrong about what you are programming. For around a fiver, it is w... more

This is an Oreilly pocket reference book, and whilst it doesn't give copious examples of javascript scripting, it does at least allow users to check out where they have been going wrong, and because it is small, you can take the book anywhere. This site, for beginners or lazy professionals alike, is your one-stop comprehensive resource for Javascript bits to add to your page. They make it look good, and ...  Read the complete review

JavaScript is very useful for making websites more interactive. There is currently very little interactivity available using basic html because html is really only designed as a means of laying out text and images, not as a means of more complicated ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review JavaScript Source -- http://javascript.internet.com (178 words)

We always like to make our Web sites more lively, by putting more pictures, graphics, and so on. However what HTML can do is really limited. The whole Web site still looks un-lively no matter how many pictures you have upload on your Web site. What can we do to make our Web sites more interesting, without numerous efforts on literature studies on programming? I have a suggestion here, you may download some very great JavaScript source codes, doing a bit simple modification which no worries of the lack of programming knowledges, and put on your Web site, making your Web site looks greater than ever. In other words, all you have to do and know is how to do copy ...  Read the complete review
