If you're looking to spice up your website and add some "zing", "zazz" or whatever else it is you like to call it then this is an excellent website to get you started. JavaScript is a subset (a derivative) of Java which is a programming language designed primarily for networks and web use (it's also a subset of C++ which is a very popular and powerful programming language). JavaScript is very useful for making websites more interactive.

There is currently very little interactivity available using basic html because html is really only designed as a means of laying out text and images, not as a means of more complicated communication with the user. JavaScript gives you many opportunities, for example such simple things as "rollovers" which are images which change when you run the mouse over them, or animations or even banners which scroll. The possibilities are fantastic and it's a very viable option even if you don't have extensive programming experience - more so if you visit this website.

The website provides absolutely stacks of examples of things that can be done, and these can be copied and pasted into your own website for use, and you can also find out how to get this to work with all the helpful instructions. It's well worth looking at if you need this sort of stuff and the website's nicely designed to help you through easily. Highly recomended.
