“ B2B search „
Jayde.com is a B2B (business to business) search engine which acts as a directory where its motives are no different to the likes of the yellow pages except it organises websites rather than real-life businesses.
The simplicity of submitting your website to this serch engine is so straight forward that it's a relief to webmasters and bloggers, unfortunately the easiness and break of the promise of it being manually checked ensures that it is very much a spam spurning orafice rather than decent directory.
As a visitor to the site, I had a little browse and wouldn't spend my time perusing the piles of naff sites submitted and wouldn't expect other rational people to do, it doesn't seem updated on a very regular basis which just about left me wondering whether it was worthwhile submitting a website to it.
It looks a bit of a graveyard of spam to me and I think my thoughts at first sight assumed this too due the ancient font with large spaces between letters and the bizarre attempt to use a woman's eye as a logo!
I went ahead and posted my link anyway but I was sandwiched between some fairly dodgy links and don't think I'll be getting too many visits from this rather unsuccesful attempt at an internet directory.
