I visit this web site on a daily basis to check what sort of jobs are available in the IT market. Also when I have been in a position where I have needed to recruit staff I have also seen my requests posted via the standard agencies. jobserve is full of what is known in the trade as "phantom jobs", this explains previous reviewers comments about receiving no replies. advertisers basically place jobs that don't exist on this board in the hope of building a cv database. I would advise that any job seeker create a cover letter summarising or bulletpointing their skills, and only send this when applying for jobs. DO NOT send your CV, if there is a job, the recruiter will be able to match your cover letter to their requirements and then request your CV after they have contacted you and let you know more about the position. You call or mail the agencies, and before they ask or do anything they are requesting you C.V. Now I am an MCSE 2000 so you would expect a few callbacks, but I have had very little. Then the jobs on offer that they insist on trying to get you to go to, are below your experience and requirements. I wish that Jobserve could vet the adverts in some way, so that when you reply to an advert that is the job you are put forward for. Am I asing for too much??? ...  Read the complete review

It is fast, quick and simple to operate. What else can you ask? Oh it has trillions of jobs. I supposed the only grumble is that it doesn't always show you rates of pay but hey, that the agencies fault. Want to find a job, use it. My friends have found jobs using it, I have found jobs using it. So much better than say computer weekly in which the jobs are out of date by the time you read them, at least this is instant. This is an IT recruitment website where searches can be performed by job title and area and sorted into latest job. There is a huge range of jobs as the majority of IT recruitment agencies submit vacanies onto this site. You CV can be uploaded onto the site so prospective employers or agencies can check out your details or you can request that specific jobs be emailed to you on a regular basis so you don't have to keep looking on jobserve. The jobs include permanent and contract as well as a selection of overseas vacancies. This is probably the largest, comprehensive IT recruitment site on the web. ...  Read the complete review
