Ever organised a club/society? Sometimes it seems akin to trying to herd cats. In theory it should be easy - a collection of like-minded individuals with a common interest getting together on a semi-regular basis, a few annual events, and the like. However as anyone who has done it will tell you, you need the organising skills of an army logistics corps, the patience of a saint and a big filofax with numbers, emails, addresses and other details to hand.
