just35.com

I was looking around for a good starting point to navigate the net and I came across just35.com which I at first sight thought would be one. I was hopeful that I would have found the resource of quality links that I was seeking, but I simply just got disappointed and my hunt will have to continue. When you first arrive to just35 you feel that it is a well-organised directiry, but it doesn't take long until you realise that all the links on the site is just a collection of sites who are paying to be listed. Just 35 is a new kind of search engine that lists the BEST 35 sites in each categorey, for example football, tennis etc. Website owners must pay to have their sites listed here and the JUST 35 review each site independently and unbiased, so they say. I really do not like this idea mainly due to one thing; the listings have to pay to get into it. This means that if Just 35 really want their business, the reviews may well be slightly exaggerated. I am no great expert on the internet. (you can probably tell) However I found the site Just 35 really good for my needs. Most of the internet sites I learn from the TV or from ads on the tube. I know I know my life is not exciting. However I used Just 35 for looking up job sites and I found the lists they provided really good. I also liked the fact that I did not have to wade through thousands of sites to try and pick out the relevant UK ones. I would recommend Just 35, if you are trying to find out specific information. Like most of the other people that have written opinions here, I visited just35 after seeing the TV ads with the annoying little jingle. For such an expensive advertising campaign, you'd expect something special right?? Wrong! Theres loads of different categories, some of these have sub categories, after which you have a list of large websites who have paid loads for the privilage of being listed, most sites are so well known in fact that any self respecting Internet user would admit to having heard of them or even visited them in the past. As soon as the whole online UK population have been to just35 I would imagine the site will have to be lucky to get more than 20 visits per day. It is the worst online directory I have ever been on !!! ... why waste your time with something like this when there are great shopping directories such as Shopsmart.com ???
