I have been a member of Justtheanswer for a good few years ad like most online market research sites it has had it's plus points and it bad points and after letting my membership lapse I got an email out of the blue just over 6 months ago telling me they had revamped the website and had more opportunities available to earn more rewards. So I quickly re-established my membership to try it out and see for myself.

So who are Justtheanswer? Justtheanswer is an UK based market research panel which is made up of just over 30,000 people who come from all over the UK from different ethnic backgrounds and different age groups, from the age of 16 years old and upwards to give and reflect on their views of particular products through a series of surveys. Justtheanswer is also an independent market research division of Aurora Market Research who was formed in 2002 and specialise in online surveys and data collection for many UK and international organizations. Both companies have their headquarters in London.

As I have said already Justtheanswer have been through a phase where I heard nothing for months and when I did hear from them it really wasn’t worth my while participating because the survey links never worked and I never seemed able to accumulate enough points for one £5 Amazon Voucher so I gave up on the site until very recently.

Once you become a member of the Justtheanswer panel and you participate in surveys you will be rewarded with what they call 'answer points’ which you can choose to exchange for things like Amazon vouchers and it is really easy to accumulate the points because for a £5 Amazon voucher you only need 500 points. You could also opt for entries into a prize draw which cost you 50 answerpoints and can win you a prize such as a £250 from Red Letter Days to spend as you desire (that is the current offering) and each prize draw is drawn at the end of the month in which you will be notified by email if you win or give a donation to Sightsavers international who are a global charity which works in over 32 of the poorest countries worldwide helping to prevent blindness, restoring sight and providing support for those adults and children who will never see again. There is a lot more information about this charity on the website with further links offering even more of an insight into what the charity do.

Some of the surveys from Justtheanswer are really short and consist of 2 or 3 yes no answers and some are much longer and more in-depth and typically depending upon the length of your survey depends on how many answerpoints you will be awarded, but the points range from 50 points to 500 answer points. Upon completion of your membership you will be given a 50 point incentive for joining.

The website can be found at www.justtheanswer.co.uk and once you get to the homepage you will find in front of you in vivid blues and greens the main page of the website. Upon the top taskbar are 10 different options to choose from such as:

** Join Now - this is where you join the website to become a member.
** Home - This option will always direct you back to the main page of the website
** Answerpoints - here you will find a more in-depth briefing on what answerpoints are and how they work
** Rewards - This section offers you more of an insight into how the rewards work
** FAQ's - A very coherent FAQ section which should answer every possible query you might have but should it fail to do that you are asked to email Julia.
** Contact Us - This section contains all the information you would need to have for contacting justtheanswer.
** About us - Here you will find more information about Justtheanswer and how the site works.
** Privacy Policy - Here you will find a statement from Aurora Market Research Ltd
** T's and C's - A very in-depth terms and conditions section which is an important read
** Lost password - If you ever forget your password this is the section for you, simply enter your email address and your password will be sent to you.

So how do you join? Thankfully Justtheanswer isn’t a referral or banner finding site, anyone over the age of 16 can join and membership is free. Once on the homepage on the top left hand side of the screen is the 'Join Now' option and once you click on it you will be told a little background information on the company and then clicking the next button you will be taken through the registration process where you will be asked to enter your email address and a password which you will need to use to participate in surveys, then you will need to enter your personal details such as your name, address, city, postcode, whether you are male or female and your date of birth are also required and once you have completed that an email from Julia will be sent to you and you will need to click on the link which is within the email to confirm your membership

Who is Julia? Every time you receive an invite to a survey an email will be sent to you from Julia Davy and she is the panel manager for justtheanswer and after receiving a few invites from Julia you are sure to become familiar with seeing the email in your inbox.

Now once you have joined and have clicked on the email link to confirm your email address you will be able to log in and fill out your profile to earn yourself a further 50 answer points. The profile questions will ultimately put you into a certain demographic section for particular surveys so be sure fill out as much detail as you can. Your profile is presented in different sections with questions about shopping, television, music, holidays and leisure time and each section is relatively painless to fill out and complete by ticking all the boxes which are relevant and providing a little more detail when and where necessary. At any time should you wish to update your profile you are perfectly entitled to do so.

Once you have signed in as a member you are given 6 different options to choose from which are:

** My home – every time you click this option you will be taken back to your own homepage as a member and the first thing you will see is the number of points accumulated. Mine currently says 900 so I am almost ready to cash out for some more Amazon vouchers.

** My profile – Listed here are the profile sections you will have just filled out to collect your bonus 50 answer points and should you want to change any information then you simply need to come here

** My Answerpoints – In this section you will be given a detailed breakdown of how many points you have accumulated, when you filled in a particular survey and how many points it was worth to you. You also use this section to cash out for your Amazon voucher or which ever option you choose to opt for.

** My Surveys – Listed here will be a current list of surveys which you have yet to complete. Sometimes there is a time limit with a certain survey and other times there isn’t, so please double check if you don’t have time to participate that you can come back to it later.

** Change Password – Pretty self explanatory but you can change your password here as often as you desire.

** Change email – Again self explanatory in that you can change your email address as often as you want.

So why do I like this site? Having been a re-established member of Justtheanswer for just over 6 months now, I have earned over £30 in Amazon vouchers which for little effort is actually quite reasonable, the surveys are straight forward. Each of the surveys that I have so far participated in has always been different from one another. For example yesterday I had a survey on KLM and a new advert they are hoping to bring onto your television screens (I personally thought it was rubbish and said so) and today I had a survey on which types of music I preferred, both of them took me about 10 minutes to complete and both paid 200 answerpoints. As with many of these sites, the more up to date you keep your profile it seems the more surveys you will be sent. I recently updated my profile as it was a little dated after my long absence and since doing that I have had many more surveys than I would usually have been sent, not that I am complaining!

One of the many advantages to being a member of Justtheanswer for me is that almost immediately after you have completed the survey your account with be credited with the points for that particular survey, unlike some sites where you can be waiting for weeks, so your balance is always up to date. Once you have cashed your winnings out they usually arrived within 5 working days but it can sometimes be within a few days or up to a week, either way they arrive quite quickly much like they do here on Dooyoo in electronic form.

Since re-establishing my membership I am yet to find a problem with the site, so far they have done everything they said they would do, everything I agreed to within the terms and conditions is correct and the number of surveys that I receive has increased ten fold because I actually receive them now.

So I really recommend this site for those of you wanting to earn a few extra Amazon vouchers with a little more ease.
