You get one shelf for free with a choice of four different categories (general, medical etc.) to search in. Additional shelves have to be paid for and you get a progressively larger choice of categories the more shelves you pay for (5 maximum I think). The advantage to karnak is that you can set it going with a search and then log out and let it look for your information automatically.
