KGB's customer service = NO customer service, you're on your own!

Disadvantages: KGB does not verify their deals and provides NO customer service
I had the worst experience with KGB - basically, they thieved me of my money and wouldn't address emails or provide a phone number so I could speak with them about my problem. One on occasion, the Merchant had clearly marked up their costs to present a better deal through KGB, and when I enquired about this, I was told that the onus was on the customer to check prices before they buy. Ridiculous! Clearly this company (BY LAW) needs to be researching what deals they post, and they were so dismissive when I did hear from them about this that I should have known better than to purchase through them again.
Which I did, and regretted. The Merchant did not honour my voucher, and when I asked KGB for a refund I was told that it fell outside their one week refund policy so they wouldn't be addressing my concern. I wrote back and explained that I would be happy to use the voucher but that the Merchant was not cooperating, and received no reply. I've followed up with them a number of time over a number of weeks, and still nothing. I finally contacted the Merchant, who was more than happy for KGB to provide me a refund, and still nothing! Ultimately I had to cancel the payment through my bank, which was way more trouble than it needed to be.
I have had smaller problems through Living Social and Groupon and was always treated kindly and promptly. I guess KGB Deals doesn't care about repeat customers, and they've surely lost one in me. This is the first review of this type that I post, and it is unfortunate that a company was so poorly run that it got me writing this. If I could select NO stars instead of 1 start, I would.
