Here's a cracking good site for kids of all ages, students, teachers and of course - parents. It's a site that the whole family could visit and enjoy. Although, it's mainly been set up for and is aimed at kids, there are many links to very useful 'related' pages, covering all manner of subjects. The site author, a very kind lady by the name of 'Linda Guterba' has been a classroom teacher for thirty years and has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. At first glance kidinfo.com looks a little ameteurish ... but it aint. It is a very friendly site, abeit a little gaudy for some I would hazzard to guess. Colourful, interesting, with loads of different zones. Side by side with dictionaries, atlesses and curriculum subjects such as art, science, history, you have parenting tips, home, family stuff as well. There are things to make here and even culinary resources. The whole caboodle is here! There is an extensive career section and even a really good and thorough listing of hobby sites. This is a site that kids will enjoy looking for more information on education as it is so bright and colourful. It has various different categories - School Subjects ranging from American History and Art to Science and World History. In fact children from many parts of the world could benefit from this site as it is not aimed at one particular country's education curriculum. There are Reference Resources including atlases and dictionaries, libraries and links to different experts online, such as "ask an expert" which has experts on hand to answer questions on any career from astronaut to zookeeper and anything in between!
