Advantages: Its free!
Disadvantages: Everything else!
There is a very true saying in life which goes "you don't get anything for nothing" and the Kingolotto website is a great indicator of the truth in that saying. Kingolotto offers you the chance to play 10 lottery tickets every day, sadly not for the real lottery though but instead for a draw that is made every night at midnight on their website. My friend and I signed up for this after receiving invites via email from a third friend and both of us have now stopped using the site after around 10 weeks and here is why.
Each day you get to choose ten sets of six numbers which are entered into the draw for that evening, when you choose a set of six numbers you then have to confirm them by clicking on an advert (how the site makes its money obviously). If you happen to get six numbers correct then you win either your dream holiday to the cost of £3,000 if you had the winning line on grids 1-9 or a car of your choice up to the value of £10,000, so in order to win the biggest prize you not only need to get 6 correct numbers but you also have to get them on the tenth grid (easy eh)?
For 5 correct numbers you get to choose between £15 cash or £30 vouchers, I have now played over 500 sets of numbers and have never got more than 3 numbers on any line (just like the real lottery then eh)?
For 1 through to 4 correct numbers you get point's and here`s where the good bit comes in (she says sarcastically). Once you have earned enough points you can trade them in for prizes, trouble is the prizes are awful. 2700 points for a pen or a fridge magnet (it took me 9 weeks to get enough points for one of these), the next listed prize online is an activity fun stickers book which I would estimate to be worth around about £5 at the very most, for this you will need to have collected 8500 points or not as the case may be because like so many of their so called prizes they have ran out of stock. After this comes a selection of DVD`s such as Brokeback mountain, Constantine and Cats and dogs, these will set you back 13000 points if they had any left but you guessed it they do not!
Onwards and upwards to the top prize coming in at 20000 points, a 1GB USB pen drive, a useful little tool that you can purchase for around about £15 these days and you will have to purchase one because Kingolotto don't have any of these left either. So just what is the point in continuing you ask? Well fear not once you have become a V.I.P on the site (someone who has played more than 500 sets of numbers) which is the only reason I kept going, you get access to the specially selected prizes only available to V.I.P`s. I guessed this would be where the good prizes were and perhaps they would even be available at more reasonable points rates but the only prizes different from the others I have mentioned were a Sudoko electronic game (8000 points), A Heinz baked beans recipe book (9000 points) and a few more DVD`s (13000 points) and guess what..... All out of stock!!
Kingolotto has been one of the biggest wastes of my time ever and unless you really want to win a cheap pen or fridge magnet then it will be a waste of your time too. I guess there will be some people who play it religiously believing they will one day win the holiday or the car but I have my doubts anyone ever will.

Summary: I have removed it from my favourites and never again will I visit this pathetic site!
