Advantages: Free lottery, the hance to win a holiday and a car!
Disadvantages: The chances of winning are incredibly slim, just like the normal lottery. It's too much effort.
I've been a member of 'KingoLotto' for a little while now and I'm yet to win big. The idea of the site; a free lottery with the chance of winning such prizes of a holiday, car or vouchers seems pretty ideal, which is why I joined in the first place. But now looking back it has all been a waste of time.
Registering is simple, and once registered each day you can choose six numbers and play the free lottery. You get 10 tries at winning the lottery each day, and can either use the same numbers on all 10 tries, or go for different ones.
Get one to four of the numbers correct and yippie you've won some 'KingoLotto' points! My points are building up very slowly, but when I realised what I could use them for; more gambling on prizes, I was a little disappointed.
Get five correct and you could win £15 or £30 worth of vouchers, and get all six right and you've won the top prize; a dream holiday or car... well not quite! It's not that simple for the top prize... yes you have to get numbers one to six right, but you've got to get them on one to nine of the boards you play each day. The chances of winning are slim. And if you choose different numbers on each of the 10 tries, you'll never win the jackpot!
Once you've won some points, which is where most people win, you'll get to use these to buy raffle tickets on other prizes! Or if you are incredibly lucky and win loads of points you can even buy gifts. Gifts are in the range of thousands of points (about 20,000 for a DVD), and to I think on average I was getting about 10 points a day, it'll take me almost 200 days before I see any rewards... and remember that's me choosing the six numbers, playing the ten boards each day every day - a lot of work if you ask me.
It sounds a great idea, but I've lost interest, or more I have more important things to do with my time. If, and this would never happen, you got to choose you six numbers and the site automatically played them on every board every day then of course it would be a fantastic site to get into, however that's just never going to happen.
Summary: A great idea, just a shame it takes too much effort, and the rewards are too hard to get.

- 26/05/09 I think it's inevitable that you'd lose interest in this - and I don't trust them anyway! |
