Advantages: Cheap prices on flights! Really quick to be connected to someone alive when calling

Disadvantages: Prices to call are not cheap. Might not have the flight you want.

Wanted a last minute trip to Naples to see my girlfriend. As it is, easyjet flights were costing 400 pounds one way! So imagine the happiness when I found that flights on lastminute.com costed only 160 pounds.

Tried booking online, but didn't work, so I rang them up. I must say that I am glad to be connected to a talking, live person really quick. Then after some flustered clicking on the other side, the person had the same problem and offered to call me back. I sat back and waited.

After about 15 minutes, he came back and found an even better flight for me! It was a direct BA flight from London to Naples at around the same times that I was looking at originally, at a price of 143 pounds! However, the booking fee of 10 pounds when booking through the phone was still applicable even though obviously this was their problem. However, I must say the 10 pounds is well spent as the person on the other side of the line is helpful and patient, besides, I got the flight for the price I wanted it in the first place.

Needless to say, very impressed with the person on the other line and his ability to find a great flight for me! Would recommend this for people who at last minute, want a holiday but don't mind the destinations!
