The site does have a slightly 'un-finished' feel. It features numerous broken and illegal links (e.g. the MP3 ones). There are much better poetry sites out there. I've been waiting for months for literature-online.co.uk to be updated and it's always exactly the same. Looks like the creators of the site have given up on it. Being a great fan of literature I was searching the internet for some poetry from the finest poets there are. Along the way I wondered on into this site and found it to be a very well set out site. The site features poems from poets such as Andrew Marvell, William Blake, James Joyce, William Shakespeare and many more. The owner of the site is also a poet wannabe and includes his own poems on the site. Although these poems are nothing compared to the likes of Marvell or Blake etc. they are still interesting to read. If ever I feel in the mood for poetry and don't really have any books to read from, then I turn to Literature online. This site is run by someone called Christian Barron who often updates the site adding new poets and new poems by both these poets and himself. Yes the owner does in fact have a page full of his own great poetry that I often aspire to reading. Literature Online features poems from: William Blake, Robert Browning, Lord Byron, Geoffrey Chaucer, James Joyce, Andrew Marvell, Siegried Sassoon and William Shakespeare. All great selections and the amount of poets and poems increase every now and then. The site is set out with an original ...
