Great idea, great service

Advantages: Good value, good service, easy to use
Disadvantages: Not as good value if you want to rent games
I love films, so I don't know why it has taken me so long to getting around to joining this service, but basically my friend mentioned she had done & that if I did it via Tesco then you can get clubcard points too, so I thought it was about time I did just that and joined up.
There are many options available depending on how many films you wish to watch per month, how many films you want at once and whether you want to include games in your package. The package I chose provides 4 films a month, 2 at home at any one time, and this costs me £7.49 a month - much cheaper than renting 4 films from the local rental shop.
There are packages which cost more but allow an unlimited number of films per month and as I've mentioned you can opt to rent games too - although having considered this I decided it was a bit expensive.
I also got a free 14 day trial period, there are often offers available so look out for them.
The way it works is pretty simple.....Once you have chosen your desired package you need to select a load of films you wish to rent (a maximum of 60 can be on your list at any one time and they recommend you have at least 15-20 on there). You can just type in the title you want or you can search by genre or your favourite actor etc. It will also recommend films for you based on the type of films you have chosen or rated highly. For each film you choose you can opt to have it on high, medium or low priority, depending how urgently you want to see it, they will then aim to send your highest priority ones first (although this obviously depends on general demand for those particular films). Love Film will then post your DVDs out to you in a small envelope that you can then re-use to send them back, all postage paid.
You can easily track on your account online which films are on their way out to you and how many more films you can get that month. You can also easily remove any films from your list and add others on whenever you like.
In addition you can read reviews and ratings of other films from other users (although as with any film reviews I always take these with a pinch of salt, someone else might love a film you'd hate or vice versa and some of the reviews aren't particularly helpful!).
The best thing about this service is the fact that there is no time limit on when you must send your DVDs back, unlike with a rental shop there are no late fees, you just will not get your next film through until you have posted the last one back (depending on how many films you have chosen to have at once etc).
I only joined this a few weeks ago and I'm really happy with it so far. So I now not only love films but I also love Love Film!
Summary: All round brill idea!
