I have been a member of LoveFilm for quite a few years now. In fact, it was known as ScreenSelect when I first started renting DVD's from them. LoveFilm is possibly the leading company for online DVD rentals in the United Kingdom and has a staggering online collection to choose from.

First time users usually get a free trial to try out before having to pay to use the service. The website is incredibly easy to use and offers DVD's, Blu-Ray DVD's, online streaming and games to rent. Payment wise, LoveFilm have quite a few different payment schemes to suit your needs, if you are just a casual DVD user then you could select the One DVD Rental per month option, once you have watched it then just send it back in the pre-paid envelope and they send another one that you've added to your rental list. The package that I am currently on is the £9.99 2 DVD Unlimited package. This allows me to have any two DVD's at a single time and there is now monthly limiit on how many DVD's I can have per month. Your rental list is easy to use and members can priorites DVD's in order in which they would prefer to recieve them (although LoveFilm can not always guarentee that you'll recieve your highest priority first, but they do try). It does seem that many new releases take a while to recieve due to the popularity but you do get them eventually.

There are literally thousands of DVD's and Games to rent on LoveFilm. The website is very easy to use and DVD's are divised into sections regarding the genre of film. There are RomComs, Horrors, Bollywood, Animated, Teen and many more genres to search through. Also, LoveFilm have a fantastic collection of TV Shows that are available on DVD. I must have watched almost every episode of CSI, CSI Miami and CSI New York. Also, without LoveFilm I would never have discovered such amazing US Dramas such as 24, Fringe and (the sadly underrated) FlashForward.

They also have lots of movie reviews on the website to help you discover new films and tv shows. They regularly update the Film and TV Charts so you know what is popular and they allow you add DVD's to your rental list which have yet to be released. There is also the option to purchase DVD's for permanent use.

I don't rent any games from LoveFilm so can't comment on that, neither have I used the online streaming yet.

Overall, LoveFilm is a fantastic entertainment company and I can't really fault them. In the 5(ish) years that I have used them I think only 2 DVD's have been lost in the post, but they do send out replacements.
