I tried the two week free trial, all i got was grief. I had one film sent which i did not want, i immeadiately tried to cancel with an email but they took about 6 days to answer thus taking me outside the "free" period. They then charged me £9.99. I tried again to cancel, their emails ignored what i was wanting to say and ... Read the complete review

I have been a member of lovefilm for a year now and i can honestly say i have had a great experience with them. I post back a DVD on a monday and a new one arrives on a wednesday, etc, never fails unless its christmas, bank holiday etc. The idea is that you choose from a massive list of DVDs/games and Lovefilm send you them ... Oh no. Not again. LoveFilm.com has appauling DVD turn-around times and doesn't seem to care about it. I used to be a LoveFilm.com customer years ago. The turn-around time for them sending movies to me became worse and worse. I emailed their customer service department several times, each time being fobbed off. ... Read the complete review

www.lovefilm.com Do you remember the VCR? If you do you may also remember going to your local video shop and renting a film in a giant spongy video case. You would get them home and, no doubt, they would smell of Benson and Hedges and the film itself would jump around more than Zebedee on smack. A few years later and the ... Read the complete review

Lovefilm are a disgraceful excuse for a DVD rental company. I was a happy screenselect customer but htis bunch are hopeless. they reactivated my account a weeek after I cancelled so they could take another months money. Downright fraudulent. They could not care less about customers. Their response to queries is a cut and paste that ... Read the complete review

Enjoyed Lovefilm service initially. However, it is very difficult to manage your rental queue - you are encouraged to keep a long queue which only helps them to avoid sending you the most popular/latest films at the top of your list. Eventually, I tried to cancel. These people don't want you to leave. You can email them or call them ... Read the complete review

I tried lots of these companies out before committing, then picked lovefilm as it had a GREAT web site (the best) and strong turnaround service - it seems recently that they have bitten off more than they can chew though, as their turnaround after returning discs is getting WORSE AND WORSE I have sent them emails and just get ... I have decided the write this review now, after receiving a letter from a debt recovery agency on behalf of Love Film.com requesting I pay £159.96 within 7 days, or they were arriving at my house to get their money's worth. I joined Love Film back in August 2004, when their join-up incentive was to get a month's free trial - ... Read the complete review

I joined LoveFilm after reading a positive review in the Guardian. Nice website. Lots of choice. However, I cancelled when I received my very first disc. It was disc 2 of a 2-disc set! Yes this is a great company the turnaround time is good now, of course they have good days and bad days but don't we all.
