I must admit I am one of those people (surely I am not the only one?) who are much too lazy (inertia probably) to lift out my thick and heavy Dictionary when I come across a new word on the Internet. I thought it would be perfect if I could check the meaning online, so I did a search and found Merriam Webster at www.m-w.com/dictionary. The Merriam-Webster Online dictionary offers an easy and much more convenient way (to me that is, though some of you may argue that it is much easier opening that dictionary beside you) to search for the meaning of a word.
