This account has become useless. I can''t send to my friends. All my mail gets blocked as coming from a known spam source/unreliable ip address. Also, mail2world blocks much of my incoming mail - I no longer get my weekly groupon summaries. Mail2world doesn''t respond to support requests sent by email phone message. I''m sorry I opened the account. I note have to figure out how and where to migrate.
Don't use them. I had a personal account with them for maybe 10 years and the other day I had a login error. They emailed me saying that the only thing I can do is change my password. Well, I changed the password and was able to login fine. Then a week later I try to login and the same error occurred. I changed my password once again but this time it didn't work. I contacted them and they asked me for the email address I was using as I forgot to include it in my email. A week passed and they never answered. I asked them to forward my new email to their supervisor to take care of this issue. Now they are accusing me of spam when I haven't used my account for anything in the last months. It is a personal account and I had pictures of my baby daughter and important documents there. Spammers don't contact them over and over to try to regain access to their account.
So, don't use mail2world.com's email services. Some scammer probably forged my email address in some spam and these guys didn't waste their time checking that up. They just disabled my account. I doubt that's what happened as everything points to them having some technical issues.
Error: "Unknown user login error. Please contact support"
If they want war, I know exactly how to fight it and win. I'm not going to go out quietly. They messed up with the worst possible guy. Hope they don't use Adsense.
i have sent two emails about skins and domain changing but no respond more than 3 days now.my bee it a policy in the non paid version but it is a shame!other than the customer service there are no other problems
Simple and easy to use without too many bells and whistles. They continue to upgrade their services and provide unlimited space and attachment sizes. Great alternative without the hassle. You only get phone support if you sign-up for their upgrade product.
The support for this email is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to know why I can't change from the excite skins back to another skin and no one there will give me the time of day and I have paid for the upgraded service for years. Why offer all the options for different email skins and when you look at excite skins all of the sudden you see that you can't change it back. Option area gone. No one at support will respond. I HATE excite skins. Now I'm stuck. Will not renew my upgrade and switching everything to another email account. If you use this email and have a problem forget about getting it fixed. Don't bother with mail2world.
Don't bother with a free mail2world email account. Last year my send function was disabled for no reason whatsoever so I contacted support many times and never received a response.Recently I opened a new free account and yesterday my account got deleted for no reason whatsoever. and no doubt this time i won't hear from support either. That is what you get i guess for using free email providers. I have also heard the same on yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc. So don't touch this one unless you want to lose contact lists, documents etc.
Mail2World is a solid, powerful and easy to use webmail servie. While its smart spam filter gets rid of practically all junk mail, the astonishingly fast and precise search and smart folders make finding and managing good mail a snap. The auto-populating folders could be even smarter, however, and support more filtering criteria. I recommend Mail2World to anyone looking for a reliable, feature-rich webmail with many unique domains to choose from. Even better, Mail2World offers unlimited storage to all users!
Mail2world is an attractive web-based e-mail site. It boasts about features such as having a choice from hundreds of domain names eg. mail2scientist, mail2open, mail2pluto etc. There is also a unique translation system allowing you to write your e-mail in English (or whatever other european language you know) and have it translated to German, French, Italian, even Arabic. These features convinced me and I registered for their free service. I used Mail2world for 3 months, before giving up out of sheer frustration. My main complaint is the speed. I'm using dial up to connect to the internet and the inbox page took 30 seconds (or more) each time to load. This is probably due to the pretty graphics. Also, there are several bugs in the site. Sometimes e-mails got sent with no content! I also encountered several problems when using with Opera 6.01. I e-mailed their tech support but usually only got automated responses. If you have broadband and like pretty graphics this may be for you. Otherwise, forget it.
mail2world is a web email provider first, and also an online organiser with contacts, address book and text message sending (the latter of which isn't free). You can either go for the free version, which puts an advertising tag at the end of your emails and displays banner ads, or pay up to $19.95 which gives you "priority" support, extra storage space, POP3 access and no ads. It does what it says on the tin, more or less, but tends to be slow, especially in the afternoon when the US is awake. They tend to take the system down for maintenance when the US is asleep, which means when we first get into work. Support is extremely poor, even if you pay the extra money. I've sent numerous support requests and only once ever had a response, which was simply "this issue has been resolved". I phoned them, and spoke to their sales manager, who apologised profusely and asked me to send him copies of everything, but still i got no response from them. I use the service because I can more or less synchronise emails I send using m2w with my Eudora inbox on my home computer. The service allows you to choose one of hundreds of domains, all @mail2 something (eg, I could have chosen mail2elliot), but unfortunately I see this as little more than a gimmick. It doesn't allow you to use any other address (eg if you had your own domain name) in the From field, you have to use the reply-to. The message composition box is badly laid out and certain features don't work on macs, such as the "foreign keyboard" which allows you to type messages in non-ascii character sets by remapping your keyboard.
