After reading the opinion on Mailarmada I thought that it sounded a good scheme. Dutifully I went over to the site to be greeted with the message that the Rewards program was due to stop. If you are looking for a web based email sysatem you could do worse than look into a new site called MAILARMADA.COM. Like the hotmails, yahoos, excites of this world, Mailarmada is free and gives you all the usual facilities for editing, attaching, etc, BUT you can receive points for each email you send and each email you receive. There is a list of free stuff you can exchange your points for, such as Amazon Gift certificate $10 = 6000 points. Seems a lot, but you get currently 20 points for each email you send up to a maximum of 15 per day.
