Advantages: free cinema tickets, earn money for having your mail stamped
Disadvantages: advertising box on your mail
After reading an opinion about mailround.com on Dooyoo, I thought that I would have a browse at their website. Mailround.com is another way of making money over the internet, except it doesn’t pay you for surfing the net like most, but pays you for having the e-mails you send and receive stamped with a small advertising box. When you first log onto their website you can see an example of what the advertising looks like. It also explains how you earn money through stamping your e-mails. After reading everything, I decided to download the mailman (the software that stamps your e-mails). It didn’t take long to download and I was sent an e-mail confirming that my account was open. One of the incentives that intrigued me the most was the free cinema tickets. When you have had the mailman for a week, and you have sent at least 10 e-mails, you receive 2 free UCI cinema tickets. I waited about 2 weeks before sending off for mine to make sure I had sent 10 e-mails. I was pleasantly surprised when the cinema tickets arrived 2 days after I applied for them! However, the tickets are only valid between Monday – Thursday, but at least they were free! How do you earn money I hear you ask? This all depends on how many stamped e-mails you send in a month. The more stamped e-mails you send and receive, the higher your monthly reward will be. For example you are rewarded bronze for occasional usage, silver for regular usage, gold for heavy e-mail usage, and platinum for extremely heavy usage!! I joined in the last week in September and still earned £4.00 for Bronze. Hopefully this month I should receive £6.00 for achieving silver. If you achieve gold you earn £8.00 a month, and platinum £40 a month! You must have to send a huge amount of e-mails to achieve platinum!! When you have earned £10.00, you can then exchange this for gift vouchers at the following places - amazon.co.uk, Pizza Hut, Mar
ks & Spencer, Tesco, Marriott Hotels, David Lloyd Leisure, or donate to charity. When you have earned £50 or more you can request a cheque. I think that the choice of places to obtain a gift voucher for is quite limited, so I will save my money until I earn £50 or more. I have found this way to earn money to be much better and not as annoying as alladvantage.com, as you can choose whether you want an e-mail to be stamped. For instance if you send a lot of letters or CV’s over the Internet, you can ask for the email not to be stamped. After a while you forget that the mailman is there as it is placed on the right hand side of your mail, so doesn’t obstruct you from reading your mail at all. If you are regular e-mail sender and want to earn some cash, this might be the one to try.
