This is a really cool site in my opinion!

This site is 100% FREE!!

It follows the normal pattern of registering and entering your details of where you live, age height and so on as you would expect. Plus it has the worst bit where you have to write a description about yourself, your likes and dislikes and what you are looking for. Probably takes about half an hour to register fully. Once registered you can go back and change all your details or add more of course. All in all very easy to do, good online help and suggestions of what to put to start you off. And of course, uploading the dreaded photo!! Complete the scruples quiz (quite funny!) and the personality test and you are ready to go looking through the member lists. Search criteria can be very precise to your requirements and takes a bit of tuning if you fiddle too much!! Results are shown in a percentage order matching your search. The rest is up to you!!

I used this site to find some new friends as I had moved to a new area. Contact between members is via the sites own mail system. Accessing your mailbox can be done from first logging on and you get email alerts to say you have new mail in your inbox. This way, there is no unwanted revealing of any onformation unless you want to. The site has chatrooms and you can chat directly with someone who is logged onto the site. Personally I found the chat rooms a bit slow but the one-to-one chat is quite good but can grind down when lots of people are logged on.

I found the other people on the site to be friendly and responsive when first contact is made. I was there for a laugh and so were the ones I contacted anyway. I did meet over 20 people from the site and have made some very good friends who I would never have met without using the site.

I have made a lot of email pals, pen pals, friends I see regularly and contacts all over the world. Visiting a friend in Russia later this year I met through the s
ite as well.

Obviously, meeting people from Internet sites has its risks. The site have a very good advice section and email service for people who need advice on meeting other members. Don't even think about it until you have read ALL the advice here!!!!
