As an official website this is probably the poorest I have ever visited. The Home Page is pretty good but the rest of the site is very restriced. As a fan of metallica I was looking forward to checking this out but unfortunatley I am not a fan club member so did not have access to the majority of the site. I would have expected more for non fan club members to see as I still buy the records and often go to see them on tour. I would not recommend this website (even for fan club members) and would stick to the unofficial and personal sites that have been created. ...

I have got to say this could just possibly be the worst 'official' band site I've ever been on, which is very sad, because I really love Metallica! The site does have a good flash entrance to the site, but it looses its novelty after the first visit! It does have a lot of features on the site, but the thing is.... You have to be a fan club member to use any of it, which isn't that fair really. Metallica really know how to rob their fans!, as much as I love em, they rip us off!
