A very useful weather tool.

Advantages: lots of information, long range
After looking around at various weather websites for a while I decided to use Metcheck.com as my rimary source of weather information.
The website is laid out simply and is easy to navigate. By clicking the map on the right of the homepage and general UK weather map can be viewed showing a forecast at midnight, 6am, midday and 6pm for the next 7 days.
By entering an address or postcode in the top bar you can view a more precise forecast. The search facility covers a good number of place names so a close location can be fixed.
Forecasts are viewed for the first 7 days with intervals every 3 hours, this means 8 forecasts are provided a day. The information provided covers all of what is needed being temperature, UV, rain, cloud cover, wind direction, wind speed, gust speed and a small summary animation. This is in my view is excellent in comparison to other weather websites providing lots of information. By Clicking 'more' on the top bar a long range forecast covering 7-14 days ahead can be viewed, shown in 6 hour intervals. This is a big advantage over several other weather websites which only show 5 or may be 7 days ahead.
Along side this you can view fog, frost, flood and pollen warnings, look up weather for major events, ski resorts and storm warnings and check out what is going on in other countries worldwide.
Overall I have found the accuracy of their forecasts to be good.
Summary: Much better than various rivals.
