Newest Review: ... American in its orrientation which of course is not going to endear it to an English reviewer like me. Perhaps it will have more appeal for American readers, but it's hard to tell. The reporting does not seem to be original -a rticles are in fact drawn from major US papers like the Washington Post. There seems however to be something of an emphasis on paranoia stories. In terms of layout and design, the site is dreadful: The front page is huge and seems to go on and on as you scroll down it. Well for a start it's no longer called Mindpollen - according to the front page its now called "Alternews" with the subtitle of "What's really happening." I am still not very impressed by this site. There are many online zines and papers, this one did not particularly stand out. It's very American in its orrientation which of course is not going to endear it to an English reviewer like me.
