I am not really a person who likes playing computer games. To be honest I always have someting better to do and scoring high marks in a game online means absolutely nothing to me. Now if it meant I could make some cash that would be something totally different!!

So how did I get introduced to miniclip.com. Well I used to work on a helpdesk, helping people fix their computers. It was something I could do with my eyes closed (sorry if it sounds arrogant - but I'm sure most of us in our field of employ could say the same). It meant that each conversation was quite boring. In fact most people only managed to hack 6 months in the job. I remember one guy managing an hour and then he ran out of the building never to be seen again!! I managed 7 years.

Well what has this got to do with miniclip.com, well that is what we all used to play to pass the time. At least we had targets that eachother had achieved to try and beat. How many snowballs can hit the penguin? How fast can Father Christmas run across buildings? How many Aliens can we shoot down. We then used to do a screen shot and send it to each other. It made the day go that bit faster.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of games sites on the net, but probably the oldest and most popular is Miniclips. It is constantly getting updated with new games to play. They even have a search engine to help find the types of games you want.These include Action Games, Sports Games, Multiplayer Games and Academy Games to mention just a few. More importantly they are all free. I used to spend hours trying them all out. There are also games you can download onto your computer and a games store for those wishing to purchase any games (these are usually the full version).

My daughter even came home from school a few weeks back, boasting about this great website she'd found on the net. Guess what? It was miniclips.com. Nice to see it is still doing the rounds. I'm sure they still use it at the tech support department I used to work on. Be careful though if you are in work - you may get into trouble!!
