I recently received a Phillips mini disc player/recorder as a gift. I am really impressed with it. I have started putting together my own mini discs and hope to increase my collection that way. Minidisc.org is a useful site if you want to learn about these players. It covers different brands, specifications, etc. The range of mini discs in music shops is nowhere near as big as the full sized CD range but this situationshould improve as more people buy them. The only thing that put me off the mini disc player was that although there aer lots of Cd's available at cut prices in the sales I couldn't find any mini ones. This site is the best site on the Internet for information about all things mini-disc. It has links to just about every bit of information there is on mini-disc players, recorders and the minidisc format. The site provides multiple reviews and specifications on every player/recorder there is, which is very useful for buyers.
