I had resisted using ICQ (that's right - "I seek you") as I had heard that the system was full of assorted pervs, freaks and deviants. I thought it would be nice to have the same instant messaging service as my girlfriend (now ex) so that if we were online at the same time we could have a short chat… both having ‘unlimited internet’ at some point in the day it would be handy.
