Advantages: Easy site to use, a lot of shops to gain cashback on, reliable

Disadvantages: I'm sure there'll be a few shops you'll find that don't participate

I have tried many cashback sites but with no success. They were either too complicated, I wasn't recieving my money or they didn't have many shops to choose from to gain my cashback. But then came Mirror Cashback. It is part of The Mirror newspaper and so I thought since this was a well known paper, I couldn't go wrong plus you get £5 added to your account just for signing up (which admittedly did lead to my final decision). Then all you have to do is find a website that you would shop at anyway and remember to click on the site's link to it, then it brings up the page for instance Currys and you'd make your online purchase as normal. However, after two to three days when you log back into your account, you'll have an amount added to your account, it may only be a few pence but all the money adds up.

It will say 'pending' for up to three months but then it turns to 'approve' and once you've reached £25, you can recieve your money straight in your bank account. Also what's good is you can recommend as many friends as you like and you get given £1 per reccomendation (you only recieve the money once your friend has reached the £25 minimum and that money has gone into their bank account). It really is worth it though, it is hard to remember sometimes not to go straight to the site you want to shop at but to go to mirrorcashback.com first (which is essential otherwise you will not recieve cashback and you can't claim it back, the page has to be open during purchase) but everything else is exactly the same as any other online shopping experience. You get in the region of 1-5% cashback or your well known high street shops such as Boots, sometimes if you spend just £20 or £30, you'll only get 10p which doesn't seem much but imagine if you spent that much every month, you'd have a few quid back every year and you're bound to spend more if it someone's birthday etc.

I spent £100 at Boots on birthday presents for a few people and gained £5 which at first I was a bit like 'is this all?' but at the end of the day, if I'd have gone to the shop I wouldn't have got any money back at all. I found the site very simple and I've never had any problems and they've always given me the money that I'd earned. After just a year on the site I've got £50 back on my purchase. It really is worth signing up!
