mobile.genie.co.ukNewest Review: ... are limited to 600 a month, which is plenty, you can have an email address which you access via the stylish webmail - O2 takes any netowrk so wether you have a mobile or not you can still send txts to any network! The change to 02 doesn't really mean much to genie users, except to say that 02 doesn't have such a community feel. The site looks professional, fresh but complex although o2 still offers everything you need including txt alerts, personal wap pages, logos, ringtones etc etc. As o2 say - its a breath of fresh air! ... more |

Genie is now part of o2, basically there's no difference! I must of signed up for Genie about...well a couple of years ago it must of been because I wanted to receive email to my phone for free. It worked! Someone sends you an email to your ???@genie.co.uk account and then a text message is sent to your phone telling you who sent the email. Pretty good if you are waiting on an email. Anyway...talk21.com came along and now I find they are alot better! So anyway genie...yeh...what about them? Well...they are run by BT Cellnet. They are a network aswell as a website which offers you free things to do. I haven't tried the other features as I don't need an online calander...infact 90% things I do not use or want. I ... The signup process is relatively simple (it was a while since I signed up...). There is the obvious verification process of you having to type in your mobile number, and reply to a text message it sends you, to prove it is your phone. And after a few details, you are in. However, once in, the site is a little confusing. At first, you had absolutely no idea where to go for the free SMS because it was ... Read the complete review

I first posted this opinion quite a while back. Since this time, there have been just a few changes, not all of them grand either. So, if you want to find out what the site is currently doing, flick to the end, where I put all my amendments.... --------------------------------------------- Ah Genie. A most wonderful website for those who love to text message from the internet. It knocks the spots off the competition! The site now has a whole number of different features, including WAP services and email, but I use it mainly for text messaging people. Yes, there are now many sites which offer free SMS, but they are only at the stage Genie was ... Read the complete review

You're sitting down staring at your computer screen, the constant flickering that you can only see in TV documentary's makes your eyes drowsy. You're an addict to the new society that is the internet. So you are aimlessly cruising or if you like "surfing the net". *A ringing noise You look to the left-hand side of your computer to locate where you placed your mobile phone. Finding it with ease you pick it up and read the screen, "one new message" it reads, so you press buttons to find this new message that you have received. "Hey a***hole, Come around to my place before we go out tomorrow night OK. See ya there ... Read the complete review
