I used mobilephonebuyer to trade in my old mobile phone which they told me was worth £60.00 so I sent my mobile by recorded delivery just to be on the safe side as I had read articles advising to send by recorded post. I received an e-mail from them on 20th March to say that they had received my trade-in and that I would receive the money in 2-3 days time. I then received another e-mail on 27th March to advise me that they had received my package but the phone was missing! I logged into my account which told me that the phone had been tested which would indicate that they had received the phone. They have e-mailed me to tell me that I didn't send the phone by recorded delivery (although I have a receipt to confirm that I did send by recorded delivery) and that they advised me immediately that they had received a package but no phone which they hadn't. They also claim that my trade in was accidentally processed on their system (sounds very fishy to me). I would not recommend this site to anyone as you will more than likely end up with nothing!

Summary: Would not recommend at all
