Money Saving Expert.com is an online advice site run by Martin Lewis, who also provides much needed advice on GMTV.

The site provides information on a range of topics including insurance, mortgages, credit cards and much more. Martin gives out well informed advice on how to make the most of your money. He lets people in on the tricks of the trade for seeking the best value for money, and how to save money by trying to play the system and hopefully beat it a few times too. It was his site that led me to dooyoo as a way to make some extra money in what is a very tough time for everyone.

His site is quite easy to negotiate with clear indications of where to click for information on a variety of saving ideas. He roots out the best deals and the site is updated on a regular basis so information is as up to date as possible. The site does look a little messy though and could be a tad more professional, but it does what it says on the tin and guides people through the buying maze and it is amazing how much can be saved if you have the time to root through the site and do your homework.

The site also contains special offer coupons and there is a great forum for people who want advice, or alternatively would like to give advice themselves. The forum provides an opportunity to let off steam or just give a success story if necessary.
