Advantages: Lots of variety

Disadvantages: A little cluttered

I have been a member of the money saving expert boards for around 2 years now and stumbled across it by mistake when I was looking for free cinema tickets courtesy of See Film First. I was amazed at the amount of users that frequent the boards - sometimes around 6,000 people.

My first impression was there was a lot of information in such a small space but once you have used the site for a while you know where everything is. You can subscribe to the weekly newsletter that keeps you up-to-date with all the latest glitches, discount vouchers and deals on mortgages, credit cards, shopping, holidays and more.

The site is run by Martin Lewis and is known as Money Saving Expert - Consumer Revenge. It is free from any advertising and features many boards from helping you to be debt free, advising on the best mortgages, car insurance, energy bills and credit cards to freebies and competitions to enter. The lists are endless. There is a thread for the over 50s, expectant mothers, old style that features many money saving tips and delicious recipes.

I know it sounds cheesy but this website seems to change people's live for the better.

I regularly visit the freebies board for the free cinema tickets from TellTen and SeeFilmFirst where we have managed to preview around ten films within the past year. It has also saved me a fortune on birthday and Christmas presents from the 'grabbit while you can' and regularly use the Tesco grocery vouchers that are posted on the Discount Voucher Board. I have recommended this site to all of my friends and family and it is a lifesaver.

So, if you have never tried it - pop over to moneysavingexpert.com now.

Summary: A website that I could not live without
