Advantages: Pays you for reading opinions
Disadvantages: 6 months for first payment, Will the company still be around
This is a new consumer opinion site, based on the same format and system as Dooyoo and Ciao. Their website link is: www.mouthshut.com I have registered with them this morning, to get the look and feel of this site and put in my opinion on the Nokia 3310. I would like to provide some information to those of you that might be thinking of joining them. 1) They have obviously just started operations very recently and seem to have more of an international touch to them. 2) The site is operated from India and probably the owners are from their aswell. 3) They mention that you can only claim your reward, either by cheque or gift voucher, after 6 months from the date you opened your account. 4) You get MS Points for writing your opinions and the earning table is as follows: 10 Points when you first join 5 Points for each opinion (review) written 2 Points when your opinion is read. 1 Point when you read any opinion. Basically everything else is the same as Dooyoo and Ciaa but the main sticky point is “payment after 6 months” from date you joined. I’ll let you decide. Also they have not clarified the value of each MS Point ie. What is it worth ?. Another very important point is you will earn 1 MS Point for every opinion you read. You’ll probably have every member reading every single opinion on the site. I’m not very confident about this company at all and I will leave it for you to make up your mind if and when you visit their site.

- 17/06/01 Thanks for the info. I didn't really see the relevance of the site's owners "probably" being from India. Wasn't sure what you were getting at there. Maybe I don't want to know :-) |

- 16/06/01 I joined them a while ago, so they have been going longer than a week, you have to be a member for 6 months before you claim for the simple reason to stop churners who are in it to make cash quick. |
