Mouthshut is another site where you write opinions and are supposed to get paid. It is just like Ciao and Dooyoo. It is based in India, but people from all over the world go on this site.

To go on to Mouthshut go to www.mouthshut.com You then give some information, like your name and address. Then you are ready to start reading and writing opinions.

You get points when you read and rate opinions. These points are then supposed to be cashed in for money. If you live outside of India though, they do not pay you. This does not seem fair, as they should pay everyone.

Once you join, the site does not tell you how to cash your points or how much the points are worth in cash either. But recently we got an email saying we are not getting paid unless we are in India. Also to get money you have been on the site for 6 months.

There are many subjects to write about on Mouthshut and these are:-

There is a circle of trust, just like on here. YOu can add anyone that you trust to it and people can add you too. As well as having a trust list, there is also a distrust list. This is for anyone that you do not trust, like if you know someone who has copied people's work.

You can go to the last 30 opinions that have been written to read and rate them. Your opinion does stay in the top 30 quite a long time, which does give you chance to get quite a few reads.

You have your own profile page where you can put information about yourself. You can also add your photograph if you want to, so other people can see what you look like. There is also all your opinions that you have written on your profile page too.

When you have wrote an opinion, there is a spell checker. If you spell any words wrong, it wi
ll highlight them in red, so that you can change them to the correct spelling. This is a good idea for people who are not good spellers, though it does not give you the correct spelling though.

To rate other people's opinions you rate them:-

Recommended
Somewhat Recommended
Not recommended

The ratings are really the same as on here but just worded differently. I find on Mouthshut though, that there is quite a lot of opinions that are not highly recommended, so you do find that you find a lot of opinions with different ratings.

You can write a comment about an opinion that you have just read too. You need to have a title though and then write your comment, which has to be 10 words or more. This is so that you do not just write good opinion or crap opinion.

The points you get on Mouthshut are as follows:-
10 points - For Registration
5 points - For writing an opinion
2 points - when someone reads your opinion
1 point - for reading some one else's opinions
10 points for referring a friend
5% of friends earnings that you have referredto that site.

Your points do soon add up, but unless they change the payment where everyone gets paid, then you will end up with loads and loads of points.

I usually read opinions on this site rather than write them, but have wrote about 5 opinions since I joined the site.

Everytime you log on to this site you have to give your username and a password, otherwise it does not let you log on.

I do enjoy reading and rating opinions on this site and recommend it to anyone that wants to join and do not mind that you do not get paid. If you would rather get paid for the work you do, then I do not recommend this site at all!!

Mouthshut gives you a list. This list is what they want people to write about, but you do not have to choose anything from the list, and you can decide on what you want to write ab
out.

There is also star writers, who are on the front page of Mouthshut. There is a picture of them and a bit of information about them too.
