There is little or NO colour on the front page and browsing through the site is a real bore. ~~~FEATURES~~~ The site allows you to search for film name, actor or actress name and year the film was made... then it sorts it out and provides the list of results, which then details the number of mistakes, trivia, corrections, easter eggs, pictures, quotes and a trailer. Upon clicking onto each individual result, the tabs at the top indicate other topics of interest, whilst the chosen one is listed. You can then quickly switch to other interest areas and so on. ~~~APPEAL~~~ Due to the site's lack of colour and imagery, the si... more |

Movie Mistakes is a website that is dedicated to pointing out the mistakes found in movies, for example plot inconsistencies, incorrect reflections, missing objects and many more! ~~~WEB LAYOUT~~~ The website is very simple and minimalistic, maybe a BIT TOO old fashioned. Whilst it is easy to use with its search bar and side bar (with its endless lists of popular searches), there is no real appeal to do so! There is little or NO colour on the front page and browsing through the site is a real bore. ~~~FEATURES~~~ The site allows you to search for film name, actor or actress name and year the film was made... then it sorts it out and ... Well I have done some opinions on both my best and worst movies of all time. Ask yourself this, have you ever sat watching a movie and noticed a really horrendous mistake that no one else seems to notice? Well I have, and it is something that really gets up my nose. Knowing that the amount of money that goes into films these days is unreasonably high, you would think that the people involved could at least take time to notice any gaffs. This however, is not always the case. Welcome to eagle eyed Deano's world of movie mistakes. (1). FOREST GUMP Staring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright Penn Directed by Ron Howard Rated 15 ... Have a look at some of the examples below and see if you could have done any better for the amount of money they must be paid. www.movie-mistake.com was ‘invented’ by Jon Sandys a few years ago and it started as a hobby. He now works on it full time, having graduated from Southampton University in July 2000. He is age 23 and has a massive collection of DVDs/videos (not surprisingly). The site loads quickly and it ... ~ ~ I came across this site after spotting a small report about it in the excellent little Internet and computer magazine, Doors, that comes as part of the Sunday Times each week. This site is exactly what it says; a VERY thorough listing of all the mistakes and blunders in movies both past and present that have made it past the cutting room and onto our cinema screens. If, like me, you are a real film buff, (addict would be a more accurate description) then I guarantee that you will have endless amounts of fun here, checking out all your own favourites, and then rushing through to turn on your VCR or DVD player to view them for yourself. ~ ~ The site ... Are you a nit-picking perfectionist that always finds fault with everything? Well I have just the site for you. You will think you have died and gone to heaven. Even if you are not a perfectionist this site is fun. The purpose of “Movie Mistakes” is that people can share any errors they have spotted in films. “Pearl Harbour” is the latest target, at present forty eight mistakes have been found. Although some of the mistakes listed are technical, others are glaring continuity errors. There is a page for the most mistake filled films. “Hannibal” and “The Wizard of Oz” come in for a caning much to my ... Read the complete review
