Advantages: If you are in the USA, you can find out the cinema times for a specific film

Disadvantages: Not much actual content. Most of it is geared towards Americans.

First glances at this site are impressive, but I am afraid that the design of the site does not do it’s content justice.
The recent reviews of films tell much of the plotline and characters, while actual opinions and viewpoints of the films are few and far between. For example, in the review of ‘Gladiator’ too much description is given of the characters and for many people, reading this would virtually eliminate the need to watch the movie. A rating out of five or ten would also not go amiss on this site, so that the reader has some indication as to the quality of the film.
The news section also seems to be aimed at those ‘over the pond’ with information on the latest American TV shows taking up most of the section.
The interviews, although they are with major Hollywood stars such as George Clooney and Mel Gibson are just your standard interview with no particular revelations and are similar to what you will find on other Movie websites and film magazines.
So is this site worth visiting for the latest movie news? Not in my opinion. There is too little information on the site and there is nothing particularly original. If you want good quality, in-depth reviews, I suggest you point your browser at www.darkhorizons.com.
