Advantages: Free! And fun!

Disadvantages: Skype is better as a program, but then, noone is on skype for some reason

MSN chat is an instant messenger which allows you to keep in touch with friends, and whats more, is completely free! There also is a huge list of different "emoticons" that you can use, meaning that you can express yourself in more than just words, but with smilies. Some of the smilies are just simple images, whereas others move about and make funny noises!
So, whats good about msn?
Msn is a fun way to talk to people, and i find it especially useful, as i live far away from a lot of my friends and family, so its save a lot of money on texts and phone calls. Whats more, is that you can also use msn without downloading it. If you search webmessenger into google, you find a webpage version of msn messenger!.

So, what is there to dislike?
Well, there are competitors to msn, the main two are skype and yahoo messenger. I would say that skype is probably the best program, as you can have lots of video conferencing and voice at the same time, which you can't do with the others, but... no one is on skype! Yahoo messenger i personally think is really poor, msn is way better.

So in conclusion?
I mean, its a free way to communicate, so that must be good right? For what your paying for, its a brilliant way to save money!
