Newest Review: ... There is also the ever popular 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' section where posters can ask for Mumsnetters views on whether they are being reasonable or not. Be careful, you need a very thick skin to post here, as Mumsnetters will tell it how it is! In addition to the Talk boards there is a wealth of information on Conception, Pregnancy, Childbirth and Babies, so if you're a first time parent you need look no further for information. Mumsnet also has regular webchats wiyh politicians, authors, parenting gurus and influential figures, so it is always in line with the zeigeist. Mumsnet is a parenting website. I have been using it for 8 years now, and there have been times in my life when it has been a godsend. Mumsnet has many facets. Primarily I use it for the talk forums, where I can join in on threads which are as wide ranging as tonight's TV schedule to 'should I be wearing lavender coloured jeans this spring?'. The talk boards not only cover light hearted topics such as Style and Beauty, Gardening, eBay and Property/DIY, but also some of the more challenging aspects of parenting, for example Special Needs, Miscarriage and Bereavement. This website is a bit boring for my liking, Its not very bright infact rather dull. I dont think I will be visiting this page again. It does have some useful information and you can "ask the experts", review products, post a message, sned a greeting card, find lots of facts and chat on the chatroom. However it is not a really interesting and eye catching site so I don't really rate it! Maybe if they update it again in ther future I would be willing to have another look. ... I have been to this site a couple of times and I have to say its a little bit boring. I'm sure there is some great information on there but it isnt really a site that grabs me and makes me want to say. They don't have a chat room and it isnt always clear where you find various bits of information. They do send out a monthly newsletter but the last one was so irrelevant to me I havent visited the site for about 3 or 4 weeks. I have just visited it again today hoping that they may have improved things but they havent. The only plus side is that it is run by mums so you know that they are speaking from their own experience. ... Read the complete review
