spotify.com ... was launched and made avaliable to the public on the 7th October 2008. Currently, it is only avaliable in in Sweden, Finland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Spain and France. However, it is rumoured that the company is doing so successfully that it will be expanding very soon. Anyway, onto the important stuff. Spotify is a free music streaming program, which gives you access to a huge music library at no cost. As long as you have access to the internet, it will allow you to stream music, free, to your computer. It is able to do this due to adverts being played every 10 songs or so, which presumably pay a fee to spotify which allows them to stream free songs to pe... You simply type in the song name or band name that you want to listen to in the little box in the top left corner (like iTunes) and it brings up everything in it s database with those credentials.
