As a clarinet, saxophone, piano and recently violin player I seem to always need to be purchasing sheet music and accessories. Musicroom.com are an internet and physical (around 18 branches I think) store which specialises in free music. Accessing the site: Well worth doing through topcashback - or one of the other cash back sites. Topcashback offers 10% cash back which (so far) has always tracked quickly and becomes payable within a month or two. The site itself: Is very well laid out - special offers are on the home page - there is always some type of offer on - be it a sale or free delivery. If, like me you just enjoy ... I am primarily a Cornet player and am working towards a Diploma next year. I recently purchased 2 Books off the site for a couple of teenagers in the Brass Band I play in and I must say I was extremely impressed with the service. I ordered on Tuesday evening and recieved them on Thursday Morning, which I consider to be excellent as most music online stores can be fairly slow, especiallu JustMusicUK, which can be frustratingly slow. Musicroom.com are not just an online trader, they have 16 brick and mortar shops all over the UK & Ireland. A full list is given on the site. They are keenly priced, the site is nice and vibrant and postage ... Read the complete review

Musicroom offers an enormous variety of musician instruments, accessories, and most importantly, sheet music. The sheer volume of material on sale can be quite mindboggling! Generally, if the piece of music one requires is from a reasonably mainstream publisher and is in print, they dispatch items quickly and efficiently. There have however been issues in the past when they have advertised items available when they clearly aren't. It is also a problem when they don't let you know this! I have had to complain several times about this, though I must say that they didn't seem particularly bothered. The site is easy to search and products are listed ... Read the complete review

I have been learning to play Alto Saxophone for about 18 months and find that I always want new sheet music as I love to play things that I like to listen to, but my 'ear' is not good enough to do so without the music in front of me. Now I happen to like browsing in music shops and looking through the pieces to see if I will be able to play them, or if they are beyond me, however time does not always allow that and most music shops are limited in their range. So when I discovered musicroom.com I was ecstatic. This site is fantastic, not only does it have hundreds of books of songs in different genres and instruments, (over 700 titles for Alto sax) it has a ... Read the complete review

As more and more independent stores go out of business, one of the often unnoticed victims of the ever decreasing high street is the local music shop. As a kid I spent many hours in the music shop, browsing through the sheet music, playing on the pianos’ and generally making a nuisance of myself. Now as an adult and a piano teacher, the lack of somewhere to browse is a real problem, my nearest store now is in Bristol, which is a 35 minute motorway journey away, and it may shortly be subject to a congestion charge. So in search for an alternative I came across musicroom.com. The Site As an online shop musicroom.com, is very well set ... Read the complete review
