Being a 5 star member myself i've browsed through these so called freebies and they are mostly absolute rubbish and not really free since you have to pay £2.99 postage and packing. The other thing i wonder is if any real person actually wins these prizes at all? Or if the prize draws ever actually take place? As i've noticed on their site the winners list is rarely updated and draws that were meant to have closed weeks ago still seem to be open. If you tr... more

I haven't time to read all the submissions here but, in 2002 I won a very nice MG TF sports car. They went to a lot of trouble to tell me I'd really won it as I'd ignored emails and telephone answer machine messages, suspecting they were just some form of marketing ploy. I kept the car 8 years and enjoyed it greatly. A year or two later I saw myself listed as a winner on the website but hadn't been notified, so I had to work at that one! A much lesser prize, a Dualite toaster, but still functioning. The manufacturer kindly exchanged it for one of a different colour, with me just paying postage. So now, when approached to buy a raffle ticket, I can't say "What's the point, I never win anything." because I did!!!Best of luck everyone.

MyOffers.co.uk is one of several prize network sites allowing you to enter competitions for free. I have been a member of My Offers for a while now, and have now supposedly won a prize....I am listed on the website as a winner and have received an email stating I have won with my name on the winner's list again and a link to "Claim my Prize". This link just takes me to my account and I cannot claim! I have emailed the website in the Contact Us section numerous times and not had one reply. What the hell is going on?! The only thing that did happen was that I received some dubious emails from a guy on Facebook saying he worked for their data entry team to help them claim their prizes and was working from home....could I email him on his hotmail address? Needless to say I didnt do this, he couldnt supply me with a work email or number. Thoughts anyone?

As well as the prizes, each time you enter a competition, you are awarded points which are supposed to allow you to choose from a range of articles, the more points you accumulate, the better the articles, the "rewards", but you do have to pay £2.99 for postage and packing for each award you select. The first month I tried this site, I collected enough points for the first category and chose a USB hub, paid £2.99 and shortly afterwards received the hub. The next month I gained a lot more points and chose a solar lamp. However when it came to paying for the selection, the web-site became quite coy and stopped working, would not accept my order and gave no ...  Read the complete review
