      Beware of this company. Having taken a full day off work, the parcels did not arrive. Customer service was not surprised and I was told it would be a further 1-2 days for the 2 day delivery option I had paid for. Customer service involves using on-line support, which takes 7-8 minutes to respond to each line typed, even if they are responding with nothing other than platitudes. I was responded to by Andrew who, after 16 minutes, had obviously just checked the screen I was looking at and responded with "it will not arrive today". The service may be cheap but is it worth is to spend an undetermined number of days off work waiting for a delivery which may never come while support does nothing to help?

      This is the second time I have used this company. The first time last year my parcel was not collected by City-Link then re-booked and not collected again and when I canceled the delivery I had to resort to making a Pay Pal claim before I eventually got my refund from them before the claim was processed. I might add on that occasion I have a very annoyed City-link driver eventually turn up 2 days later to collect my parcel because MPD had not canceled the order with City-Link. I wrote a negative review that time and 10 months later I was contacted by the review company because this company had complained about my review. At that time I vowed never to use this company again, however as they have a name very similar to another on line parcel delivery company I used them by mistake again. Guess what, yet again my parcel was not collected on the arranged date, this time by Hermes. As the parcel was time sensitive and due to the fiasco I had with this company last time, I canceled the order (and still have the confirmation E Mail from the customer services apologising and blaming it all on Hermes) and re-booked it directly through the Hermes . Not only was my parcel collected when MyHermes said it would be it was also cheaper and without any Pay Pal surcharge added on top as MPD includes. On this point don't think that by using Pay Pal you'll be protected because you won't. I have tried this last few weeks to get a refund from MPD for the failed collection and cancelled order, but of course yet again you just get fobbed off. Thus I resorted again to making a Pay Pal claim. This time the claim was allowed by MPD to be processed by Pay Pal, only for Pay Pal to refuse to protect me because they do not cover virtual services, quote "We've denied your claim because you purchased a virtual, digital or intangible item, which isn't covered by our Buyer Protection." (Something I now suspect MPD are fully aware of) SO PAY PAL WILL NOT PROTECT YOU WHEN USING THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES. To add to my misery because MPD yet again failed to cancel my order with Hermes, they did eventually turn up and take yet another parcel of mine this time one I had left out for another courier, in error and deliver it to the wrong address, thus causing me even greater inconvenience and expense recovering that item. So in summary I have used this company twice now using two different couriers. On two differing occasions. Both times they failed to collect. Both times after acknowledging the cancellation, that have in fact failed to cancel the courier Both times I had to fight to get a refund, the second time failing. Both times as no doubt you'll read in a reply from them they will deny it's any fault of theirs. You work it out. I expect MPD will blame the couriers. MY ADVICE FORGET THESE "MIDDLE MEN" AND BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE COURIER, MOST HAVE VERY USABLE WEBSITES NOW WHICH PROVIDE THE SAME SERVICE AND OFTEN CHEAPER AND IF THINGS GO WRONG THERE IS NOT ANOTHER COMPANY TO "CONVIENENTLY BLAME" I also note suspiciously that MPD appears to be another company on Trust Pilot who either has reviews by customers of 1 star or reviews by "customers" ;) of 5 stars. I leave it up to your imagination as to why...

      Don't use this site if you want your parcel to be delivered, non-existence customer service

      This is probably the worst online delivery service I have never used (and I've tried many different ones). They failed to collect the parcel twice! First time they said it was "postcode error", even though there was nothing wrong with our postcode. We had even contacted the customer service on the pick up day and they guaranteed the parcel would be picked up, even though on the system it would have been obvious there was already a "postcode error" logged in the middle of the day, but they failed to inform us of this. Upon closer questioning it turned out to be "driver error" (??). The only means of contacting customer service is through "Online chat" where you have to wait up to 40 mins for anyone to speak to you even though they indicated there were only 3 people in the queue. It was 5.30 pm, and although the parcel could be collected up to 6 pm, their customer service "Live chat" closed at 5 pm so there's no way of finding out of the parcel will be collected. So the parcel was late, resulting in me having to refund the purchaser and potentially a negative review from the purchaser. WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN!

      Used this company for the first time and won't be using them again!My parcel was returned to me with no explanation several days after it should have arrived at the destination.Very poor communication with customers - very slow to answer emails and there isn't an alternative way of contacting them. Finally found out why they had returned it almost a week later.Complete waste of time and money, I've now missed the deadline for returning the item I posted. Myparceldelivery have refused to refund my money.

      As much as I like to support the local economy, I'm not going to pay the local shippers ridiculous prices to send out my parcels. This site's prices are fair and reasonable. Why didn't they invent a service like this sooner? The 4 part booking process makes it ridiculously easy to find a cheap parcel delivery. My company has booked over 100 parcels and we saved hundreds of dollars compared to if we had used a local shipper.

      I have an e-store online so I'm always shipping unique stuff. Whenever I contact this site with questions, they're always so helpful. Any questions I have about sizing of boxes or shipping advice they are always glad to answer with knowledgeable advice.

      The live chat people are always well informed and always do their best to assist me with parcels. I'm actually impressed because I was expecting an incompetent outsourced employee from India or something! Sometimes my parcels don't get delivered on time but I'm almost certain it's not this delivery's service's fault... If you have a problem with late delivery then take it up with the courier because they're the ones that don't follow the schedule.

      To be honest, I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews but this company really came through for me. Their prices were great (almost made me question them because low prices usually means bad service.... Not in this case!) I used them to send some packages to people I sold stuff to online and City Link always picked them up on time. My buyers never complained about their packages arriving late so I assume that they were delivered on time. Would use again!

      I have an online business so I ship like 20 parcels a day. I'm a "regular sender" and the flat fees and discounts I get are awesome! Their bulk shipping tool is very easy to use. If you're a business owner you know that time = money and there's no use in worrying about little details like how much each parcel would cost. I don't have to worry because I can send as many parcels as I want without wasting a lot of time and money.

      I had issues tracking my parcel on the website and I submitted a help desk ticket. They emailed me back right away and personally told me where my parcel was. I really appreciate that they took the time to look up my parcel info for me. If that isn't good customer service then I don't know what is

      I used TNT to ship packages for my online store and they were a nightmare! I was sick of paying them a lot of money to lose my parcels and collect them late and everything. I stopped using them and went with another courier. Then I found MPD... and gave TNT another try. They're alright now. MPD makes TNT bearable and it's so much cheaper and easier to ship things now!

      Awful customer service, unreliable and non-professional

      I had the most terrible experience with this company and here is why I rate it so low: 1) they don't have the phone number you can call and if anything goes wrong (and it does!) you are in big trouble. 2) they are supposed to have live chat on their site - it doesn't exist, in fact you send a message and they reply to you (be ready to wait a whole day sometimes). 3) don't trust their tracking info - I had "collection point closed", when the driver hadn't even been to collect yet, then I had the parcel "delivered and signed (with all the details which were completely out of the blue!), when the parcel was still in the depot and receiver was denying receiving the parcel of course. 4) you cannot communicate with the courier yourself if anything goes wrong - they will demand communication from myparceldeliverycom and here you are in trouble. 5) I have an impression that the stuff doesn't read e-mails properly, only the headlines - expect all sort of problems therefore. 6) when I consider the stress the delivery caused and delays, than a couple of pounds I have saved don't matter at all.

      Sent a return to Javari (part of Amazon) using this company as they were cheapest.As the song goes 'I should have known better' the parcel was not delivered it was meant to be returned to me back on 1/8/2012 but I still do not have it, customer service is a joke both Chris and Kim promise to get back to you but don't, Jamie Holmes-Brown claims manager will not reply to your emails, if you are tempted to use this service, save your money and leave the parcel on top of your car as you drive off, it will be the same end result..lost parcelI cannot stress enough this company is a showerYOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

      Failed to pick up my parcel, had to re-book and failed to pick up my parcel again on the second arranged day resulting in a very disappointed customer and lots of grief for me. Promised refund didn't happen so had to resort to paypal claim to get refund. I'd seriously think twice about this operation there are more reliable ones out there.

      Don't use them - but if you do, read the following and pray nothing goes wrong.

      "Dishonest, misleading and impossible to communicate with." The list below is the items they prohibit and restrict - please read it because If you're sending a book you should be okay but otherwise, be very careful because everything else seems to be on the list. When I booked a parcel with this company online, they asked what the contents of the package was. I stated that it was a mirror. The website then asked me if I wanted to increase my insurance from the £20 they give you as standard, so I increased it to £100 at a further cost to me on top of the delivery charge. But when I tried to make a claim, I was sent a form with the restricted or prohibited items -and lo and behold, mirrors were on it. At no time during booking did the website indicate that a mirror was a restricted item despite the fact that I stated that this is what I was sending. But they were very happy to take more money for insurance to cover an item which wasn't actually insurable by this company! They don't want to tell you that you're sending a prohibited item because they want to make money from selling insurance on items they won't pay up on - if they were honest with their customers, it would be simple for them to write a line of code into their site that highlighted a restricted item when you keyed it into the box. Trading Standards, are you listening? The mirror was delivered smashed to pieces, but if you're thinking that it wasn't packed properly - not so. I built a wooden crate around all the sides, front and back, packed with bubble-wrap, poly-foam, cardboard and fragile tape. The packing weighed more than the mirror! The information they supply - or rather, suppress at the point-of-sale is inadequate and inappropriate for the consumer. You can't phone them, they don't answer messages and when I DID eventually get to someone, I was promised a call within 24 hours. Guess what? No call! Don't use them - but if you do, read the following and pray nothing goes wrong. Restricted items: Antiques. Diamonds, Gems, Gold, Jewellery, Silver, Precious Metals/Stones, Watches. Fishing Rods, Fish Tanks. Food items (perishable). Framed Photographs / Paintings. Glass / Ceramic / Marble / China / Stone / Resin - (or any item containing these materials). Computers, Laptops, Monitors, TFT Screens. Lighting products such as Lamps, tail lights, torches. Mirrors, Microscopes, Ornaments, Porcelain, Pottery, Spectacles, Telescopes, Tiles, Vases. SIM cards. Stamps. Televisions, LCD screens, Plasmas, Projectors, Scanners, printers or similar. Tickets. White Goods (Fridges, Ovens, Microwaves, Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Shower screens etc. ). Prohibited items: Animal skins / Furs / Any Animal Parts / Ivory and ivory products. Animals of any form (alive or dead). Aerosol cans / sprays. Alcoholic beverages. Animals of any form (alive or dead). Articles of exceptional value (eg, works of art, antiques, precious stones, gold and silver). Airbag Modules. Any item that is not boxed. Batteries (Except Dry Cell). Biological samples. Car bonnets, bumpers and other external bodywork. Christmas crackers. Currency of any form. Dangerous goods - eg Explosives / Fireworks / Christmas Crackers / Radioactive Materials / Deactivated or Replica Weapons and Munitions / Firearms / Ammunition / Swords / Knives / Axe / Weapons/ Liquids / Adhesives / Paint.
