Advantages: free money, no unreasonable conditions of point earning

Disadvantages: refer a friend scheme currently out of action

Mypoints is a very gentle way to introduce yourself to the joys of point earning on the internet.

The beauty of it is that you are not obliged to spend any money on any of it's related sites - although you probably will through choice.

When you compare it to ipoints for example most of the links will earn you points for simply visiting the site - with the option of a whole load more points should you wish to persue the offer advertised. I found when I tried the same game on ipoints - points were only up for grabs if you signed your life away to this new linked site. (there are exceptions).

Many a happy half hour can be spent idly browsing these links without commitment. I have taken them up on a few offers, including my introduction to dooyoo - so that can't be bad!

Sadly, as mentioned in other reviews of this service, the refer-a-friend scheme is a nice little point earner - BUT has been 'temporarily' unavailable for some time - so you'll have to wait for that particular perk.

In addition to perusing the site, fishing for points, if you sign up for their email notification of offers - you can find yourself reaping points again for things you have already visited on the site - simply for taking the time to click their email version of the same link.

The points value is quite fair too. It is fairly easy to clock up the 750 points for a £5 voucher and the list of retailers is really good. My advice though is to hold on until you've clocked up a few more as the amount of points goes down for each successive £5 if redeemed in one go.

Always start off with the surveys to get your basic points up and remember to visit every few days to check for new links.

I also recommend joining the daily draw for 50 points plus 25 for playing 8 times each month. That's fun and free to play.

Can't think of anything else and I'm starting to bore myself - so just take a vi
sit for yourself - it's easier than reading this!

I have just finished writing a nice little whiney email to this lot, as I'm due around 1500 points from referalls which have not been added to my account.
