If you really want to meet someone then use another website (mysinglefriend.com)
Member Name: BumpyBump
Advantages: The men all seemed normal (as far as you can tell from a blurb) Disadvantages: No-one appeared to be interested in actually meeting up
MSF is a typical dating website but the only exception is the fact that a friend either has to sign you up, or write something about you if you choose to nominate yourself. A friend of mine signed me up to MSF about a year and a half ago. It was all a bit of a giggle at first and we had a laugh writing the blurbs about me (definitely check what your friend writes about you before you let them post it!). I sat back and waited and, inevitably, I got some emails (I expect everyone does so when they initially sign up). I always had the decency to reply to everyone that emailed me, even if they weren't what I was looking for. A simple 'I don't think we'd be suited, but thanks' is all it took to be polite. I did not have such manners from the menfolk on MSF, unfortunately. I emailed maybe ten men that I liked the look of and thought I'd be compatible with and not one of them replied. NOT ONE! Not even to tell me to "**** off" which would've at least been something. It made me feel very despondent and unattractive to say the least. Summary: This website is nothing special. The gimmick is just that and I don't think it works. |
