Advantages: Good Rewards, Interesting Surveys & Range of Vouchers.

Disadvantages: Infrequent Surveys.

I think I've finally realised that the money I manage to make online is never going to be enough to make me a millionaire! However I do still try to keep up with my online survey sites as I find a little reward in the form of a cheque or voucher every now and then is always a nice little treat. I think I'm probably a member of about fifteen survey sites yet only seem to hear from about five of them regularly, and only seem to make money from about three of them regularly. My Voice is a site that I joined about three years ago now and although I only recieve rewards from them about three times a year they don't ask for very much in return for those rewards at all.

My Voice was set up back in 1998 in Japan and began to operate in the UK in the new millenium. It's owned by the Otochu Corporation which is a Japanese company but now operates in many countries around the world. Over 100,000 people have joined the UK site now with the number growing daily. It allows companies and organisations to find out what individuals really think while allowing those individuals to express their opinions to the people they want to influence. They advertise themselves as working with governmental and commercial organisations and I have actually seen references to My Voice data in both The Daily Mail and on the BBC news in the past.

Joining the site is incredibly easy and straightforward... plus you'll be rewarded with 250 points simply for joining. By going to their website (www.myvoice.co.uk) you'll see a link right in the centre of the homepage for joining the site. You're asked to fill in about fifteen boxes requiring basic information such as name, date of birth, address, email address, etc. Once you've done that the site will send you out a confirmation email which you'll see contains a link, by clicking on this link you're confirming your email address and agreeing that you wish to join the site. After that you simply need to sit back and wait for the survey invites to start rolling into your email inbox!

I've found I tend to recieve a survey from My Voice about once a week on average, sometimes I'll recieve them more frequently and other times I'll go for a couple of weeks without hearing anything. The survey invites always tell you what the survey will be about, the points you'll earn, the time it'll take you and also a link to the actual survey itself. The surveys can be about anything from brand advertising to the current economic situation to your personal circumstances. I find I tend to earn between 50 points and 200 points per survey, normally they last about four to eight minutes in general so they are quite generous with the points that they offer you.

The rewards system is really easy to understand, basically 1 points equals 1 penny so 50 points equals 50p. Therefore for most surveys you'll find you're earning between 50p and £2.00 for less than ten minutes work normally. In terms of the effort required this site is certainly one of the best, on other sites I've completed 20 minute surveys for 50p! Once you've accumulated 2000 points you can then redeem those points for a £20.00 voucher. There's a wide choice of vouchers which include Arcadia, Debenhams, Harvey Nichols, M & S, Sainsburys and Waitrose to name just a few. These vouchers are posted out to you and normally arrive within two weeks on average.

The website is really easy to navigate and quite brief in terms of the information that it provides you with. From here you can take a survey (but very often there's nothing on offer in terms of rewards), look at your rewards (here you can see everything you've earnt since joining the site), update your information (if you need to change any details then you'll need to go here) and a range of other things too. I tend to only log onto the site about once every two months just to check on my points, there's relatively little else to do on here and as the survey invites can sent straight to your email inbox there really aren't many reasons to log onto it at all.

So would I recommend joining My Voice? Well if you've got two or three minutes to spare to register with the site then I certainly would! The surveys aren't as frequent as I would like but the rewards they offer you for completing them are more than fair and there's a wide number of vouchers to redeem your rewards for. I've been a member for just over three years and in that time I've redeemed over £180 of vouchers. Arguably that's not enough to make me give up my day job but recieving a £20 voucher through the post for relatively little work isn't half bad! My Voice is certainly one of the better sites out there, just a shame they didn't invite me to more!

If you wish to join please send me your email so I can refer you!

Thanks for reading.

Summary: A survey site offering you vouchers in return for your opinions.
