Advantages: great looking site, interesting polls, earn gift vouchers

Disadvantages: none, you've absolutely nothing to lose

If you like to give it some in the gob department, and you've an opinion on just about EVERYTHING, then myvoice.co.uk is the site for you. It's a relatively new opinion site where you take polls, air your views, and amass luvverley points which you can exchange for gift vouchers into the bargain.

How it Works:

myvoice works with government agencies and commercial organisations. Basically, they collect opinion data which the organisations then pay for to use as market research. myvoice promise, however, that your own personal details are private in that they do not reveal your name, address or any such info to the companies involved.

Through myvoice you also get the chance to take part in bigger market research surveys if your 'profile' matches that required.

The polls at myvoice are generally multiple-choice questions on topics of the day which are interesting, up-to-the-minute, and relevant to all of our lives. Current polls include the Afghanistan situation, Britain hosting the Olympics and how happy you are (who might of commissioned this one I don't know - maybe Prozac).

Points for polls are generally up to 25, though some are worth 100 points and if you get asked to take part in market research they will be more. Once you've got 2000 points, you can exchange them for a £20 voucher from a choice of high street stores.

This isn't as daunting as it first sounds. New polls are added all the time and they are fun and quick to take. I've already amassed hundreds.

You also get the satisfaction of knowing that your opinion will be heard and noted, which you can't say very often in life! Your views really could lead to change.

And if you really want to shoot your mouth off about something, you can join in one of the many topics on their online forum where you can really get stuck into a good debate.

The Site itself:

The site looks gorge
ous. It's all done in shades of rust, white and pewter with high quality images. The design is really neat and contains plenty of 'white space' so your head doesn't spin when you look at it. It is a class design.

Also, the site is very quick to load. Compared with yougov.com, a site along similar lines, it loads like lightning. Navigation is also very easy, with a clear set of titles which have drop-downs when you mouse over them.

Joining:

Very simple. Simply log onto the site, click on the join button and you're away.

Oh yeah, and every poll you take gets you an entry into a monthly prize draw, and into the end-of-year grand draw for a rather splendid little Mazda MX5.

Go on, get it off your chest.

I joined this a couple of months ago. I found that a few of the surveys are only available on the site for a day or two, so it pays to visit every day if you have the time. Earned over 700 points so far, so hope to have the 2000 before Christmas.
