Advantages: Free vouchers for hardly any effort,easy, fast.

Disadvantages: Takes some time to get to £20, but still worth it.

Well by now most of you that know me also know that I am willing to have a go at anything (within reason Elspeth after your kind comment!) that promises a bit of free cash or free rewards.

This particular site www.myvoice.co.uk is yet another that I participate regularly in.

So what exactly is this site all about and more to the point what do you get…

Myvoice is based on taking opinion polls and the incentive for doing these polls is free vouchers.
The vouchers currently on offer are for the following:

Amazon, Marks & Spencer, Boots, Dixon’s, Virgin Megastore, WH Smiths, Tesco stores, Sainsbury stores, Choice vouchers (valid in Argos, Woolworths, HMV, Dolcis, Mothercare, BHS, JJB Sports, H. Samuel) and Leisure Vouchers (valid in Pizza Hut, TGI Friday's, Thresher, Victoria Wine Shops, Marriott Hotels, David Lloyd centres).

Plenty to choose from isn’t there? In fact more than most sites that offer vouchers as rewards.

So by now you may well fancy getting your hands on one of these free vouchers, in which case all you need to do is register, this is extremely straight forward and you only need give basic details about yourself in order to access the polls available on site.

You must be 16 and over and a UK citizen in order to join.

However you can fill in a more comprehensive profile, you not only get points added for this but also it increases your chances of receiving “invitation only” polls via email, these I will explain very shortly.

Once at the home page you will find on the front page the polling station, here is a full listing of all available polls at any given time.

THE POLLS

Usually there are only an average of say 6 polls available at one time, maybe 3 or so are added each week, sometimes more, and the older ones removed.

The polls themselves each have a point value next to them, this ranges fro 0-50 points but it is not often you see a 50 pointer, occasionally yes but very rarely, the average poll points range from 10-20.

Although you are probably wondering again why bother doing a poll for no points, well again if you do you increase your chances of getting the invitation only polls I mentioned earlier, these are worth getting as they can range from 50 – 500 points so they say, I have had 2 of these but they were only for 75 points, so fingers crossed for the biggy.

The polls are all topical and to give you an example at present 2 of them are on Digital bullies and credit card crime.

Once you take a poll you are presented usually with only 6 or so questions for say a 20 pointer, these are in multiple choice format, simply answer and submit and that’s it you are credited with the point value.

Under this link you will find all the results of any recent polls that are current or just closed, this is displayed in percentage and very easy to view.
But also every time you take a new poll you will see the current results after you complete it.

Each month Myvoice has goodies on offer and all you need do to enter is again take a poll, you receive 1 draw entry for each poll you take and this is for a monthly prize of £1000 in cash. However you also get a bonus entry each time too into the grand draw which is a holiday of your choice at t
he value of £1000 from Expedia.

So the bit you really want to know, how to get your hands on a lovely free voucher, well in order to do this you need 2000 points, this is converted into a free £20 voucher of your choice from the afore mentioned retailers.

This may seem a lot of points but don’t despair, they really do seem to add up very quickly indeed, in fact I have not been there that long and now have 1,889 points so not far off my first one at all.
But for those generous people on ciao , you can also donate as little as 1000 points (£10) to charity!

VERDICT

Myvoice is a very clear concise site that is simple,looks good and is totally uncluttered; you will breeze through navigation with ease and the pages load impressively fast.

The polls are a doddle, so short it really is effortless indeed, plus the actual questions are straight to the point with no waffle so again makes life easy.

The incentives are excellent with the wide choice of vouchers offered, plus more and more retailers added all the time.

I do not actually know anyone who has claimed a voucher as yet, but I have every faith that this site will honour its promise so that doesn’t put me off.
However I have been informed by another member who did an opinion on this site (dibalmond), that you do get your vouchers so there you go my hunch was right!

All in all if you want a chance to make an impact and have your vote in day to day issues plus get
paid for it as well then this is a good place to be, you really have nothing to lose do you?
