It all seems like such a good idea. The national lottery online where you can buy virtual lottory tickets for the real lotto draws. And in some respects it is a good idea or at least that is what I thought when I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago, but it was actually working then! But at about 6.50 pm on Saturday I over heard someone in my family say "oh and don't forget the lottery tickets" at which point I butted in with "oh you don't need to worry about all that, I'll do it for you online". But now as I sit here and it approaches 8.00 pm with neither a real ticket or a crappy virtual one I hope and prey that the numbers I was ever so happy to put on do not come up tonight. You see you could argue that I left it a little late to buy the tickets, but I tried to the buy the tickets online at about 7.00 pm knowing full well I had til 7.30 pm. So I arrived at the national lottery home page and it seemed alitte slow, each page seemed to be taking ages to load. And I know full well the fault wasn't at my end either because I have broadband and I was actually able to surf other websites at fast speeds while I was still wanting for the lotto site to load it's next page. I would imagine that the site is suffering from high traffic and thats why it's so slow, but that doesn't really help me and the situation I now face. I know this though, the next lottery tickets I buy will be of the paper variety. What with the promise of a estimated Jackpot of £5,200,000 tonight I can't wait to see what numbers roll out. I just hope that I only get less than 3. Although you can bet that my chances of winning are now about 1 to 1. Because it's a funny thing fate and luck. I can just see myself saying the words "just my **** luck", in shock, ready to kick the cat at about 8.01 pm. I'll wait it fear and type this rant. I mean opinion. P.S. Don't worry I don't hav
e a cat.
