Of course, if you wish to make a return journey then that option will appear as well. You'll then be guided to the next page, which does differ slightly from trains to coaches - obviously there are fewer coach terminals across the country, but probably the ... more |

The company may be haemorrhaging money, but if ever you need a good check or coach and train times, or indeed need to book one, then nationalexpress.com is the best place to go. The National Express' website allows you to book online a coach or train journey, or even an airport transfer with just a few clicks of the mouse. How? Well, let me try and explain. Rather than having to wander all the way to the train or coach station, the home page of the National Express website allows you to book a journey. As you'd expect, it's a step-by-step guide - first of all enter the 'To' and 'From' locations; say you wanted to go to from London St Pancras to ... Read the complete review

National Express is a great website, and probably the best for buying coach tickets for traveling up and down the United Kingdom. You can also buy train tickets from this site but for that I would recommend another site such as Virgin Trains or The Train Line as they have more reasonable prices. The website's design in so easy use to use and user friendly. You can find tickets to your destination right from the homepage. All you have to do is enter your "To and From" details, whether you want a single or return and the dates you will be departing and returning. Then you get the choice of what times you want to be traveling on the coach. Then choose ... Read the complete review

Note: This a review of the National Express website; for the most part, I will review their services elsewhere in the appropriate section. Thanks :3 I have used the site to book coach tickets for several years, and the site has changed very little in that time. This is a good thing, as it has always been very easy to use and nicely presented. Entering details of the journey you require is possible right from the homepage, and all destinations are loaded into a drop down list so it is easy to be precise about your destination immediately. Once this is complete, you will be taken to a page showing the services that are operating during the selected ... Read the complete review

I often use National Express coaches to travel to and from london and always have booked my tickets using the website. I find the website very easy to navigate around and quickly type in the to and from locations and choose a suitable journey time. What i particulary like is you can see the specific stops the coach does, its estimated times and prices. The only problem i have found with the website is you can choose a journey, put in all your credit details then it pop up and say part of the journey is fully booked, but doesnt specify which part :S The actualy coaches i have experienced have all been similar. limited leg room, 1 toilet at the back ... We are lucky enough to have a direct rail link to Liverpool Street station in London that gets me from A to B in just under 2 hours. That suits me nicely when I have to work in London. Although the cheapest prices don't apply to rush hour services, it is direct, and as I am usually travelling alone, it is cost effective, as to take the car would be just as expensive once I have taken the cost of fuel, and the congestion charge into account, and to take the coach would take too long. However, there have been more and more times over the last few years where I have stopped letting "the train take the strain" and have been turning to National Express ... Read the complete review
